Creator God,

Our  hearts are heavy for our siblings in the Ukraine whose country is at  war; and for their extended family throughout the world who are worried.  No words could ever encompass what we need to ask. We feel helpless. We  feel unsure of what will happen to the beloved human family.

We  ask for peace despite our ignorance in how it might happen. We ask for  safety and provision. Remembering the men and women who will say goodbye  to their loved ones and face the unknown, give a measure of strength.  In the meantime, hold our hearts and quicken them to be ready to serve  your people. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
