Children Youth Groups / Activities

Each Second Sunday of the month, our church sponsors a Christian based lesson for children of all ages after worship from 11:30 AM-1 PM in the chapel at 291 Main Street.  Lorinda Ravo leads the sessions and creates lessons based on Bible passages.

Students engage in fun activities and many of our congregation members assist in the teaching of these lessons.  In the past, we have learned origami, crocheting, knitting, basket making, baking, creating Christmas ornaments, and finger painting.  The opportunities are endless and so much fun for both the students and the teachers.

And did I mention a light lunch is served by our favorite lunch ladies each month.  Children from our church are asked to sign up the weeks prior to the event so that we have a count and can provide the appropriate supplies and they are also encouraged to bring along a friend - either from the church or from another church - so that they can join in the fun.  

All students in grades 6-8 take part in youth group activities sponsored on a monthly basis.  These activities take place at the chapel on Main Street, led by Pastor Erin and MaryAnn Simmons. Dates are determined during the month when students are available to meet.
