Children Youth Groups / Activities

---

Since 2022, on each Second Sunday of the month, from 11:30am-1:30 pm, our church has sponsored an activity for children of all ages after worship.  The activities include both a lesson and a chance for kids to use their creativity and imaginations in a fun and supervised setting.  We are currently looking for a new volunteer (or volunteers!) to coordinate this program!  If you are interested in helping provide fun and engagement for kids, please contact the church office at 908-852-4011.

Students engage in fun activities and many of our congregation members assist in the teaching of these lessons.  In the past, we have learned origami, crocheting, knitting, basket making, baking, creating Christmas ornaments, and finger painting.  We've carved pumpkins, built birdfeeders, and explored science and outer space.  The kids have made candles, applesauce, and bread, and Valentine cards for residents of area senior care homes.  The opportunities are endless and so much fun for both the students and the teachers.

And did we mention that a light lunch was served by our favorite lunch ladies each month.  Children from our church are asked to sign up in the weeks prior to the event so that we have a count and can provide the appropriate supplies and they are also encouraged to bring along a friend - either from the church or from another church - so that they can join in the fun.
